hannertime asked: What are the careers are there available for art history majors?

Hahaha. Sorry, I’ve gotten this question so many times, mostly from family. XD My dream is to work in an art museum, which is one track that a lot of art history majors take, and in that field, there are about fifty bajillion different roles (depending on the size of the museum, all of it could possibly be done by one or two people). I want to be a curator, but I’m also considering going into the education department of a museum, doing outreach programs and working with schools/students. I’ve heard of someone going from an art history undergrad to law school and doing museum law. There’s also teaching, of course, which is something I’d like to do eventually as well. Or research positions, writing books, et cetera. -Liz
