Art History Major Cat - About jobs for art history majors: My costume design professor, who also works as a professional costume designer in the real world, was an art history major in her undergrad. You can get into anything in the design field with an art history degree under your belt. Also, you can go into art criticism and write for publications. :) I’m not an art history major, but I’m a journalism major and people still ask me “What are you going to do with that?” (Er, journalism perhaps?) The real answer is you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT with any major.

I don’t know how I forgot about criticism and such…And that’s really cool about the costume design! I didn’t even think of that. You really can do just about anything with any major, which is pretty great.
